Myelolipoma is a benign tumor composed of mature adipose tissue and hematopoietic cells. This lesion occurs most frequently in the adrenal glands, although it also occurs in extra-adrenal sites, including mediastinum, liver, stomach, lungs, pelvis, spleen, retroperitoneum, presacral region and mesentery. Although these tumors can cause local symptoms or hemorrage, they are generally asymptomatic. We report a case of perirenal myelolipoma in a 74 -year-old patient and review the literature.

Key words: Myelolipoma, extraadrenal, perirenal.
