This paper deals with the research performed by Rudolf Virchow upon calvaria and bones discovered during SchliemannΆs excavations at Troy, as well as during other excavations at various locations of Greece and Asia Minor. The bulk of this research concerned anthropometric features, with only a few results pertaining to palaeopathology.
