Rheumatology Case 8 | |

A 52 year-old housewife presented to the outpatient Rheumatology Clinic because of arthritis involving the knees, elbows and shoulders and a low grade fever. Physical examination showed a maculo-papular rash over the extensor surfaces of the knees and tibia as shown in the picture. Chest X-ray revealed mild hilar lymphadenopathy and PPD was negative. The differential diagnosis includes: 1. Systemic lupus erythematosus 2. Lucio phenomenon 3. Sarcoidosis 4. T-cell lymphoma 5. Tuberculosis
